The Nike Free Run Spiz’ike has a long history of OG Nike Free Run-inspired colorways. Popular picks like the Nike Free Run 3 ‘True Blue’, Nike Dunk SB Mens the Nike Free Run XX ‘Quickstrike’, and the Nike Free Run 5.0 ‘White/Cement’ have all been transplanted rather accurate;y Nike Air Jordan Mens onto this widely popular hybrid sneaker, and for February 2012, it’ll receive the ‘Bordeaux’ treatment. Sneaker News dropped the news of the Nike Free Run Spiz’ike ‘Bordeaux’ back in late June when we previewed the Spring 2012 release calendar for Jordan Brand, but here we have a first look at this upcoming release. With color-blocking pick-pocketed from the OG Nike Free Run 3.0II ‘Bordeaux’, the Spiz’ike receives a nice refresher with an age-old (and well-respected) original. An additional close-up awaits you below, Air Jordan 4 so take a look and let us know what you think. via MN.

Art imitates life, but in this latest Nike Originals release, we have a bit of Three Stripes imitating Jeremy Scott (in turn imitating golden age hip-hop, which was in turn imitating many African tribal influences).  The Nike Originals Metro Attitude Logo borrows J.Scott’s super-Trefoiled tongue and makes em about as crazy as they could ever be with just black and white in use.  That’s thanks to the scored leather sections that show you what a discoball made of onyx might look like, and you can grab yours now from TGWO.

Welcome to the final NBA Feet feature of the 2011-2012 NBA Regular Season! We’ll keep you on track as the Playoffs move along, but there’s one last helping of NBA kicks that should have you excited for Playoff basketball. This year’s sneaker king award goes to Monta Ellis, who finished off the season wearing the Nike Free Run X in 2005′s Varsity Red colorway. Amir Johnson of the Raptors switched to the Flu Game Nike Free Run 12, while Q-Rich rocked one of his Nike Free Run 13 PEs. Hakim Warrick went with the ‘Wolf’ Kobe VII, while Paul George opted for an iD version of that model. We’ve got a great recap of NBA Feet for you below, so take a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for NBA Feet for the Playoffs! Photos: espn

With the Nike Hypermax NFW releases so hot of late, it’s only natural to see the shoe that started it all appear sans its signature element.  The Nike Hyperdunk NFW appears above in four new designs that capture the essence of basketball sneakers as streetwear by eschewing the Flywire-equipped side panels in favour of a satiny surface.  There’s one each in cool grey, red, yellow and blue.  Each features a white midsole, Swoosh and laces, while the other accents match the satin.  These are available now from Hoopcity in Korea, so stick with Sneaker News for updates on a stateside release.
