The influence of Jordan Brand has seeped beyond the limits of basketball sneakers, as seen in the high-end dress shoe effort by the Nike Free Run 3 Retro Premio. This latest Nike Free Run “crossover” of sorts comes packaged as if it were a pair of Italian Leather wingtips, complete with wooden shoe-tree, shoe bag, and cardnote, closed shut by a wax stamp. The upper consists of a rich brown leather, fashioned with faux-snakeskin, which caps off the basketball court-to-ball Nike LunarGlide 4 room transformation to a tee. While wearing a pair of sneakers with a suit might be a sure-fire fashion faux pas, this Nike Free Run 3 ‘dress shoe’ can definitely slip by the fashion police radar. A few days ago we showed you the Nike Zoom Lebron VI Los Angeles version that is a part of the three cities pack put together by the Nike Basketball Nike Free 3.0 V2 Team, the first two shoes in the three cities pack were New York City and Miami, now the third and final pair is this Los Angeles edition that we think Lebron will wear when his Cavaliers take on Kobe and the LA Lakers in a couple weeks on January 19th, 2009 at the Staples Center. When we first showed you this LA edition pair we were being told that there would be a Lebron “Dunkman” logo near the heel but now these new pictures are showing that there actually is no logo, everything else remains the same, including our favorite part of the sneaker which is the graffitti on the midsole.
