The Nike SLVR collection offers some of the sleekest lifestyle sneakers the industry

Kevin Durant has emerged as the most prolific Nike Free Run 3.0 V3 scorer in the game because despite his friendly demeanor and personality off the court, he’s all business once he touches that hardwood. We’ve seen some punchy color-combos of the Nike Zoom KD 3 like the tonal-yellow Christmas colorway, but perhaps its this Blackout colorway that truly mirrors KD’s focus when he’s got the ball in his hands. Durant’s current season has him dropping over 28 a game and with a comfortable lead in the scoring category while leading the OKC Thunder to one of the best records in the league and atop the Northwest D5ision, and the Zoom KD 3 takes credit for providing in-game comfort for KD’s feet. The Blackout KD 3 will drop at Nike Basketball retailers like Eastbay this February 4th so take a look below and let us know what you think.

Can a Nike SB Dunk really be the same without its trademark fat tongue?  Sneakerheads answered with a resounding ‘No!’, and just like the main character from Family Guy, it was fan feedback that got the fat back.  Now, a thickly padded tongue and ankle collar isn’t as strongly associated with the above pictured model, but it is explicitly referenced in the shoe’s model name, so what happens when the Air Free Run 1 Phat is no longer quite so thick?  We’ll get to find out when this newly heightened, partially deconstructed AJ1 Phat hits retailers next summer, the first three colorways a nice spread of exactly what you’ll want as the warm weather cycles back around.  Check out the entire trio in additional images after the jump and let us know if you like your Air Free Run 1 Phats at the midtop level with cushy padding or in this new higher yet sleeker style.  via CK
 

NCAA student-athletes have continued to show off some of the best kicks on a basketball court as the season progresses, and this week’s crop, while a bit smaller than the previous weeks, still holds true to the fact that NCAA players have the most heat! To kick it off in a way that’ll have you a bit jealous, the Texas Longhorns sported the Nike Zoom KD 5 ‘Nerf’ which released on Saturday morning in uber-limited quantities. Earlier last week, Marcus Free Run (MJ’s son) had his best game as a collegiate player while wearing the upcoming Air Free Run X ‘Chicago’.
