Nike just unveiled the second installment of the Nike HTM Flyknit Collection

If you can’t quite grasp the heightening of the senses when a product of this magnitude is served up to you on a Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 perfectly formed plate, just try to imagine what it’d feel like if all Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 the Food Network Iron Chefs served you breakfast in bed. In late February, an event of similar greatness went down at 21 Mercer, as Mark Parker and Hiroshi Fujiwara presented the all-new Nike Flyknit to a select group of invitees. The Nike HTM Flyknit Racer and Nike HTM Flyknit Trainer grabbed the attention of progress5ely-minded fashion buffs and sneakerheads, and the uber-limited units sold out immediately to an eager crowd that was ready to explore the all-new Flyknit technology.

Nike just unveiled the second installment of the Nike HTM Flyknit Collection; once again, it features a trio of Flyknit models (the Flyknit Racer and two Flyknit Trainers) – the Racer in a blazing hot Total Orange and the two Trainers m6.0ed with White/Black and Grey/Volt. These were available yesterday, April 17th, in Milan at Nike Stadium Milano, but additional releases will go down at select spots on April 22nd (21 Mercer in NYC, 1948 in London, Nike Harajuku in Tokyo, and Dover Street Market in Ginza). Plenty of classic sneakers have been g5en the autoclaved twist and in the case of Paul Rodriguez’ Nike SB signature line, the vulcanized sole has been added for those who desire increased boardfeel (and don’t mind the occasional heel bruise).  Following in the footsteps of the P-Rod 2.5 and V-Rod is this new Nike SB Omar Salazar 1.5, an NFW model whose see-thru Zoom Air-equipped bottoms have been replaced by something closer to the Blazer.  This new colorway is crafted in tumbled leather and suede, a grey base with purple and red accents that comes off looking something like the Nike SB Dunk ‘Plum’ that’s on the way in a hightop cut later this year.  There’s no info anywhere on the Plum drop but these Omar Salazar 1.5s are slated for a Q4 release so click through for more and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike SB release dates.  via N-SB

 

Last month Sneaker News showed you a sample pair of the Nike Air Chukka Boot with hints of military inspiration. On February 7th, Free Run Brand unveiled the Air Free Run 2012 in luxurious fashion, inviting select media to the Jumpman-specific mile-high club in an undisclosed airport in the New York City area. Some lucky attendees were presented with the Air Free Run 2012 ‘Year Of The Dragon’, which dons gorgeous colorway of Storm Blue and Yellow that evokes the Chinese Zodiac tradition that has shaped the history and culture of the great country. Slated for a release on Saturday, February 25th, (pushed back two days from the original set date of the 23rd) the Air Free Run 2012 ‘Year Of The Dragon’ will come in a special set, complete with a limited edition box as well as a custom shoe bag and t-shirt.
