At this junction, Carmelo Anthony could not care less about what kicks are on his feet08 Dec 13 - 20:22
Kobe Bryant’s a pretty big sneakerhead himself – you might remember his 3rd-grader super-cheesing smile when he was g5en a pair of the Air Force 1 ‘Playstation’ a few years back. Now that he’s the Big Man On Campus for Nike Basketball at the moment, Kobe will have two more Air Force 1s to call his own, one of them being the Nike Air Force 1 High ‘Foamposite’. Sneaker News first showed you a sneak peek some time ago and later hit you with a detailed gallery of the Kobe x Foamposite Air Force 1, and on the 17th, right at the start of the NBA All-Star Weekend, these babies can be yours. The Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 ‘Foamposite’ is beginning to hit retailers in the U.S., like MilleniumShoes, so check out the detailed shots below and let us know Nike Free 3.0 V2 if these are a must-have for you. Better yet, cop a pair early now Cheap Nike Free Run on us stroes.
At this junction, Carmelo Anthony could not care less about what kicks are on his feet. He’s focused on surv5ing the first round match-up against the Utah Jazz, and his 26-and-11 performance yesterday night was enough to keep the Nuggets al5e for another day. Down 3-2 with Game 6 heading into Utah may not be very good for Melo’s future prospects, but for Austin Jermacans, the high-schooler behind the design of the Future Sole Melo M6, his future is looking at bright as day. What probably started off as a rough sketch in the back of a tattered notebook resulted in s6.0 Player Exclus5e colorways of his Melo M6 design that Carmelo himself has been wearing throughout the Playoffs. Check out these great PEs and let us know which colorway is tops. The Future Sole Melo M6 is also set to drop in limited numbers in the coming months, Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 so stick with Sneaker News for more info regarding all Free Run Brand releases.
An overwhelming majority of Air Free Run Retro releases focus on Michael Free Run’s career with the Chicago Bulls, the Fifteen as of this date the only one that debuted after his second retirement to return outside of the 2008 Collezione Packages. The Air Free Run X5 Retro pictured above only sneaks into the majority by a technicality, itself never appearing in an NBA game after Mike hung up his ‘Last Shots’ in 1998. So this model finds itself in a curious niche that’s somewhat similar to the 6.0s and Xs in that you can’t help but imagine what it would have been like for His Airness to remain act5e in the NBA and wearing these. Could the 50-game 1999 schedule have provided the aging Bulls an opportunity for the ever elus5e four-peat? These are the kinds of questions we’ll never get to answer, which add an extra layer of intrigue to the return of the second OG AJX5 colorway. Click through to see more of this Ferrari F355-inspired design and be ready when these hit Free Run Brand retailers like Millennium Shoes next Friday, March 10th.
Even though its predecessor didn’t have the kind of household name recognition that would provide a context for its existence, a single glance at the above pictured model reveals its ties to the Vans arch5es. This new Vans Vault Priz Laced Hi 2 LX is half Sk8, half Old Skool, and bears the markings of Taka Hayashi’s influence on the original via its leather laces and generally rustic appearance on this tonal brown design. The white pair seems more like what we’d expect from the OTW Collection, which is to say this model can cover a pretty good stretch of ground, even with simple two-toned colorups. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more in the future, and check out these first two pairs in the meantime. via FNG |
