Nike SB seems to be in love with the tumbled look as of late and we can’t complain

Here’s a sneaker that may be one of the best examples of what HUF is all about: honoring classic skate sensibilities by adding a contemporary touch.  The new HUF Hupper hightop is not only a tongue-twister to say three times fast, but these first four pairs are sal5ating.  At first glance, they look a little like the Vans Sk8-Hi, but there are a load Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 of little differences, not the least of which is an ‘H’ that stretches diagonally from the eye-placket down to the vulcanized rubber soles.  Expect these canvas and suede hightops to hit retailers in Fall 2010, just in time for back to school shopping.  via CJL
 

Nike SB seems to be in love with the tumbled look as of late and we can’t complain, as fresh material selection is always a good way to breathe new life into a timeless silhouette like the Dunk. The last couple drops to feature the look were the ‘US Passport’ and ‘UK Passport’ Dunk Lows, but as far as we know this Nike SB Dunk High doesn’t have any international tie-ins. Instead it’s just a nice earthy colorway that opts for a pretty dark look, thanks to the black out swoosh and sole. If you’re in the market for a new pair of Dunks that don’t scream for attention this December release may be for you. With the New Year comes new beginnings, and what Free Run Brand has in store for us in the first month of 2011 should leave you feeling refreshed and ready to take on another twelve months while keeping your feet Nike Free Run 3.0 nice and toasty. The highlight of January 2011 is the release of the Air Free Run 3 in White/Cement Grey, a shoe that last made an appearance in 2003. Other shoes that fall in between the cracks of the Air Free Run Legacy is the dual-design hybrid called the Free Run 6-17-23 in the previously previewed ‘Carmine’ colorway. Two Air Max x Air Free Run releases will also be available, with a Black/Neon Green CMFT Viz Air 11 and Black/Un5ersity Blue CMFT Max Air 12 releasing on the 15th. And making its debut to the Free Run Brand catalog is the Free Run Prime 5, which features design elements from the Air Free Run 1, Air Free Run Alpha 1, and Air Free Run V.

Other notable releases are two brighter-colored Free Run V.2 Grown colorways and the Free Run Winterized S6.0 Rings in Grey and Chlorine Blue. On the athletic side, Free Run Brand will debut Chris Paul’s fourth signature shoe, the Free Run CP3.5. Also releasing are three colorways of the forefoot-strapped Free Run Evolution ’85, a new colorway of Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 the 360-Air Free Run Take Flight, and the all-new Free Run Flight TR-97, a high-top athletic/lifestyle shoe with a visible Air unit and translucent sole. Despite what his uniform may say, Aaron Brooks is far from a zero.  In fact, the diminut5e Houston Rockets point guard was named the NBA’s Most Improved Player a couple weeks back, and as always, you’ve gotta wonder, “Is it the shoes?”  If ‘yes’, props are due for the Nike Hyperdunk Low Aaron Brooks PE that appears above.  These joints were clearly made for home games at the Toyota Center, as they rock a simple white/red palette, with the Flywire side panels appearing a little like the silver that accents H-Town’s jerseys.  Once considered an unlikely release, these have recently hit K6.0-Files and the Nike Basketball Store in Hong Kong, so stick with Sneaker News for updates on stateside availability or play it safe and get yours now on us stroes.
