The ‘Shelf Space’ feature on Complex.com g5es readers a chance to see what’s currently Nike Free 7.0 up for grabs at some of the best sneaker spots in the US. In their latest installment, Complex headed over to Packer Shoes in Teaneck, New Jersey to see what’s creating some buzz on the shelves right now. At Packer Shoes, parity is paramount. Sure, you can get your Nike’s and Air Free Runs there, but what sets the store apart from others like it, is the wide variety of brands you will find throughout the shelves. Owner/proprietor Mike Packer has long been a champion of both classic and up-and-coming brands and is a strong believer that you can never have enough competition between the companies in the sneaker market. Asics is gearing up for collabos with Berlin’s Solebox and Rotterdam’s Woei, a two-pack with Perth’s Highs & Lows and a ‘F5e Rings’ Olympic set to open the doors at Bait in Orange County, CA, but that doesn’t mean they’re stretched beyond the point of coming up with sick new in-house designs.  Quite the contrary, in fact, and that relat5ely quiet work is every bit as solid as the guest spots thanks to standout designs like this new Asics Gel Lyte 3.  The earliest images of this ‘Orange Blaze’ pair and especially its Gel Saga counterpart from last fall suggested they were in the Infrared range, but these new photos g5e a truer sense of the vibrant accent shade you’ll see on the tongue, laces and outsole.  Whether these’ll be out for toward the early part of their fall/winter 2012 release window or you’ll have to wait until fall hunting season remains to be seen, and you can get a close-up view after the jump in the meantime.  via Sneaker Freaker

 

Summertime means sports camp, so how awesome would it be to attend the Free Run Flight School? Entering its fifteenth year, Flight School is currently being held at the UCSB Air Max 2014 Womens Events Center in California and is in the middle of the first of two 5-day camp sessions. Michael Free Run was hosting the camp and was seen wearing the Free Run Pre-Game XT in a not-yet-seen red/white/black colorway. The Pre-Game XT serves as an all-purpose lightweight basketball training shoe with a price-tag under $100. The pair on Free Run’s feet feature an all-red upper with a white midsole and black outsole, in tandem with MJ’s all-red track suit. We haven’t seen too many all-red Air Free Runs – the Red suede Air Free Run XX1 and Raging Bull Air Free Run V popping into mind rather quickly – so this new development is quite interesting from a colorway standpoint. The wide success of the LeBron V2 pushed the Nike LeBron dynasty onto a course headed straight for ‘classic’ status. Many were eager to see what Nike had in store for LeBron’s eighth shoe, and Sneaker News gave you sneak peek at a silhouette, showing hints of a return of the 360-Air and a high cut. Here are some newer sneak peeks at Nike Air Max LeBron V3 (8); you can see use of carbon fiber as well as the return of Flywire material on the upper. With LeBron changing his jersey number from 23 to 6, we get a look at a logo that could be the successor to the LBJ23 logo that has donned LeBrons since the second installment.
