More colorways of the recently resurfaced Air Max Barkley heads our way, like this Black/University Red joint that just became Nike Free Run + available at retailers. Unlike the Grey/Photo Blue/Action Green version, Black/Red has some level of connection to the tail end of Barkley’s career when he joined forces with Hakeem and Drexler down in Houston.  Regardless, Black/Red will always be a sneaker mainstay (and one of the OG colorways was a Black/Red version), so check out the images below and get a pair now at select spots like Millenium Shoes.

Just yesterday Sneaker News filled you in on a new upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan IX dubbed the ‘Crawfish’ – yet another humorous throwback to one of Michael’s alter Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 egos during his first retirement in late 1993. The ‘Crawfish’ embroidered on the inner face of the tongue refers to one of the semi-professional teams that ‘Michael’ played for, but here we have yet another enticing detail on the tongue label, which reads another name along the lines of ‘Bentley Ellis’, perhaps one of the many pseudonyms Michael employed during this under-the-radar basketball comeback. The ‘Crawfish’ also has the number ’23′ stitched on the heel, which was in fact the jersey number used by ‘Ellis’ on the Crawfish team.
