From an unseen colorway of the brand new tenth LeBron James signature

The Air Jordan Retro news Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 continues as we get a first look at yet another upcoming OG colorway slated for a 2013 comeback. The return of the Air Jordan VIII in the classics “Bugs” colorway was first reported back in October of 2012, joining both the ‘Playoffs’ and the ‘Aqua’ for quite the package of VIII models in 2013. Aside from Michael making these incredibly popular, this White-based version of the Air Jordan VIII was rocked by Bugs Bunny in the classic Space Jam film! These have hit stores as a Retro twice before – once in 2003 and again in 2008 as part of the Collezione Package, so let us know if you might have these already in your collection, or if you’ll be targeting these come April.

From an unseen colorway of the brand new tenth LeBron James signature, we now move to the departing model which has been covered extensively over the past several months here on Sneaker News.  But this isn’t just any old Nike LeBron 9 Low we’re showcasing here today, rather, a super-limited edition style that seems to pop up on more friends & family exclusives than any other.  DJ Nike Air Max 90 Mens Clark Kent’s shoutout to his hometown with a mix of Air Jordan III Elephant print the and Nike Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ palette gives us another ’112′ makeup, as the LeBron 9 Low extends King James’ spectacular summer right up until a new season’s tipoff.  It’s your call as to whether these are more desirable than any of the released colorups, but getting your hands on a pair is another story, so be sure to check out more photos below.

 

Plenty of sneaker brands have tried workwear or otherwise blue collar-leaning colorways over the past couple years, and even though that connection is referenced in the Supra Pilot ’Utility’ nickname, Mens Nike Free Run the design (and previous explicit ‘Workwear’ drops from the Crown brand) require that we think another layer deeper to make sense of what’s going on here.  At first glance, this is just a tonal black shoe with a white sole, but a closer look reveals that a combination of rugged cotton twill and soft microfiber are not only providing depth of color.  There’s also a statement here on the kinds of materials that were once geared toward the average American workday (denim for hard labor) as compared to today’s decidedly more white-collar population (microfiber to clean your LCD or smartphone display).  Supra has subtly packed in a satisfyingly thoughtful theme into this unassuming hightop skate shoe, and you’ll find them available now directly from the source.
 

The latest detail of the upcoming Air Jordan IX ‘Kilroy Pack’ just rolled in – a special edition insole for each version of the shoe. It’s been a long while since Jordan Brand threw in special insoles in their Retro releases (with the exception of the Doernbecher releases, which were designed by the children of Doernbecher Hospital), so it’s definitely a nice addition to an already detailed Retro drop that features a new tongue label and embroidered logo on the inner face of the tongue.
