About a month ago, Sneaker News showed you a sample Nike Flyknit

22 Nov 13 - 01:54

The younger cats might not remember, but those Nike Free Run + 3 Reebok x Allen Iverson commercials with The Answer giving step-by-step tutorials on how to crack ankles were dope! The Reebok Answer DMX was front and center for those awesome ads, and with the return of the Reebok Answer DMX coming later this year, we hope that the streetball-style of basketball handles returns to the NBA (it’s getting a bit boring, Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 don’t you think?). The OG Black/Red colorway is headed for retail this August, so we expect some guys in the NBA to rock these once the 2013-2014 season starts, so check out the additional angles below and stay tuned for a release during the Fall 2013 season.

So you saw the beauty shots of the Air Jordan IV “Toro” – what else could be in store? The Air Jordan 1’89 is up next, as this slightly altered Air Jordan 1 Mid takes form of the aforementioned all-red Air Jordan IVs by adding the grey speckled ankle collar and the signature netting on the upper. We promised these would release in July when we previewed these last, and it looks like select Jordan Brand retailers like City Sole are beginning to stock these now. A further gallery is just below so take a look at this new Air Jordan 1 ’89 and let us know if you’ll be after these AJ1 Mids.

About a month ago, Sneaker News showed you a sample Nike Flyknit Racer that spun the ‘USA’ colorway in a blue/Volt combo. Those will likely never see the light of day at retail, but we see a similar weave at work on this new Flyknit Racer scheduled for next year. This pair is a grey/black combo instead of blue/black on the other weave, but the Volt accents are interspersed in Nike Free Run Shoes all the same spots. Check them out after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more details on this projected January 2014 drop.

The debate of the better “Grape” release of 2013 has viciously pitted the Air Jordan V “Grape” and the “Black Grape” against one another like a Spy vs. Spy battle, but we know that most of the readers chiming in with opinions have every intention of copping both! Can you blame them? Remixed OG colorways aren’t exactly widely embraced, but this blacked-out version of the original Grapes (in nubuck, no less) has us excited with just cause. Another detailed look is below so give them a review in a new (and better) light and we’ll have release info for you soon enough.
