The forecast on tax day is cloudy for many, no matter how sunny the skies.  This turned out to be a good thing Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 for Foamposite fanatics and Kevin Durant fans, as yesterday brought us a first glimpse at a crazy new One with meteorological detailing.  This ‘Weatherman’ Nike Air Foamposite One applies the Doppler radar look that made the Zoom KD IV of the same name so spectacular.  Reactions to this pair’s first viewing appeared fairly polarized considering the popularity of the Weatherman KD 4s; further proof of just how important this iconic silhouette remains within the sneakerhead community and how much people adore the classic unibodied Foams.  Check out some new images below and let us know where these would rank if they end up making it to retail.

Nike Free Run 4.0 V2

While the 2013 iteration of the Hyperdunk series has been previewed already, even by Nike INC. themselves, the next up shoe for the Hyperfuse line has been a bit more hidden. Until now, that is. Shown is the Nike Hyperfuse 2013, a pure performance basketball model that aims to go about Nike Free Run 5.0 V1 as lightweight as possible with its molded construction. The shoe gets perhaps the most interesting on the back end, where some fast, jagged graphics wrap the ankle area and an interesting, angular pull-tab hangs off the back. Following on the success of the nylon-dominated Backpack and Windbreaker packs, the latest set of New Balance 574s adds significantly more variety to its uppers.  The ‘Retro Surf Pack’ adds suede, woven hemp and plenty of contrast stitching, along with a flowery print sockliner that evokes old school beach vibes.  Available in black/blue, green/yellow and yellow/orange, this trio also known as the ‘Floral Hemp Pack’ is depicted further below, then you can grab a pair at NB retailers like Premier.
 

There’s one more Nike Zoom Hyperflight colorway on deck from Nike Sportswear that does that “Superhero” thing. That would be this red reef, court purple, and black colorway that was part of early previews but has ended up with a little bit later date. Speculation surrounding the connected character in the NBA points to Blake Griffin, a previous darling of Nike Basketball who has since switched allegiances to the Jordan Brand team.
