The 20th anniversary of the adidas Mutombos is one that will see the shoe finally back on shelves

Really, Nike? How are you going to release a model called the Nike Air Shark Trainer just seven days after Shark Week concludes? Apparently the Swoosh squad who put together this new NSW model aren’t Discovery Channel watches-or maybe they are and they swerved around the event to avoid any sort Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 of litigation. The shoe is a remix of the ancient Nike Shark cleat, one that gives a much needed lifestyle update. The 20th anniversary of the adidas Mutombos is one that will see the shoe finally back on shelves. The shoe’s design is tied up in Mount Mutombo’s African heritage, from the traditional tribal patterns in place to the shield logo representing his defensive style. We can only hope that a decent amount of the original apparel that came out with the sneakers will be on its way back too, but we’ll have to wait and see on that one. Another Asics classic is on the way – this time, the Gel Epirus taking form of a World Cup colorway inspired by Brazil. The combination of suede and mesh speaks to Asics’ never-fail formula, with the combo of blue, yellow, and green achieving the Brazil vibe without fail. Nike’s ‘Armory’ colors have dominated the third quarter, this range of steely shades showing up on so many different shoes of late.  A prime example of what these hues can do is on display in Nike Free Run 5.0 V1 this new Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 Nike WMNS Air Max 90, a style that hit Euro shops a few weeks back and is now arriving at US Nike Sportswear stockists.  The Armory Slate upper features a variety of materials and textures, Light Armory Blue on the midsole adds more tonal depth and the Atomic Pink accents as seen on a similarly styled AM90 Tape adds some punch to the otherwise stoic palette.  These are depicted further after the jump, and if you like what you see, grab yours today from Wish.
